7pm Beginner class until 8pm with Bruno: TANGO MUSIC FOUNDATIONS for those who start tango. Understand rhythm and simple structure.
8pm Advanced Musicality workshop with Mariano Laplume. Unmissable! For level 3 and up.
NOTE: No Practica after the 8pm lesson. This Friday we have decided to close the practica to support milonga Nacimiento, so let’s go together aftwewards!
INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL ADV. WORKSHOP WITH MARIANO
Treat yourself with a workshop designed to delve into the intricacies of advanced musicality in tango. Orchestras, styles, how to read the phrasing and more.
Mariano: “In this workshop we will focus on expressivity, flexibility and movement in complex tango orchestras including Pugliese and Troilo, whilst comparing them with classic orchestras like Di Sarli and D’Arienzo. In doing so we will move toward different levels of complexity in the music and movement.”
As both an experience tango teacher and long time musician, Mariano has taught his musicality workshops in various countries with great success.
ABOUT MARIANO LAPLUME
As a musician, Mariano had the good fortune to play as a violinist in the Academic Orchestra of Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, Orchestra Tipica Imperial, Orchestra Estilos Tangueros of Academia Nacional del Tango after which he cofounded and became know as the violinist of the internationally renowned and much loved Sexteto Milonguero, playing in more than 40 milongas and festivals in Buenos Aires and over 100 more around the world.
