SOLO TECHNIQUE: Torso. Hips displacement. Legs and feet placement. Cross or parallel system. Reverse or forward. Doubled. The Americana has lots of flavours and shapes, so we will delve into the details and secrets of perhaps the most beloved embrace of most tango dancers. We will explore lead and response, in depth technique, and adornos. No partner required.

Cambio de frente (change of front) refer to these moments when the follower shifts in embrace, and suddenly faces a different direction. They are beautiful moments of subtle connection changes and open a wide range of new possibilities. Add these Cambios in your repertoire, and embrace new sensations in your dance.
