Straight from Buenos Aires! We are thrilled to welcome the 2014 tango salon world champion Lorena Gonzalez together with Gaston Camejo to teach eight classes in London this October.
 
Reknown for their graceful and fluid dancing as well as their attention to detail, Lorena and Gaston are amongst the most approachable and skilled maestros in Buenos Aires and beyond.
 
The workshops are unmissable for anyone who wants to drastically improve their style, stability, power, fluidity and refine the communication in embrace. To this effect, the maestro have prepared four themes that will be developed during the two weeks they will be in London.
 
 

WORKSHOPS THEMES & SCHEDULE

Beginners and Improvers: Wednesdays at 7pm, Sundays at 2pm
Intermediate and Advanced: Wednesdays at 8pm, Sundays at 3pm

» 13/10 (Sunday): 2 workshops, followed by Milonga until 7.30pm with DJ Lorena

♪ Beginners and Improvers: Fundamentals of movement in tango, individually and in couples
♪ Intermediate and Advanced: Lead, embrace to lead and communication: myths and truths.
Learn with Lorena and Gaston the methods to enhance the communication in the embrace, in all situations. Improve precision, timing, body position, and timing of response, for a beautiful connection, every time.

» 16/10 (Wedn.): 2 workshops, followed by guided practica until 10.30pm

♪ Beginners and Improvers: How to walk; concepts of parrallel and cross system
♪ Intermediate and Advanced: Power and stability in tango: learn the tricks and methods to understand the source of all movements, enhance how you move with your partner, enhance synchronicity and create a sensation of strength and precision.

» 20/10 (Sunday): 2 workshops, followed by Milonga until 7.30pm with DJ Lorena

♪ Beginners and Improvers: Pivot and ocho fundamentals
♪ Intermediate and Advanced: Elegance and creativity in crowded milongas: learn the tricks and methods to adapt your use of restricted space and time, whilst creating a sensation of ample movements.

» 23/10 (Wedn.): 2 workshops, followed by guided practica until 10.30pm

♪ Beginners and Improvers: circular movements: how to use them at the milonga
♪ Intermediate and Advanced: Secrets of a world champion: own the space! Learn the secrets of astounding dancers and teachers, who will show you how to develop more volume and impact in circular movements. You will be astonished by how much positive impact it will have on your dancing.
