Learn Argentine Tango in Angel, Islington with London’s highest publicly rated school
Watch out, our passion for tango is contagious!
In our classes, we use an original teaching technique to produce happy, shiny, dancy people. We want you to enjoy tango and its culture, so we go beyond the steps and explore tango music, etiquette, history…
With us, you know where you are going: we have a yearly plan and each class follows a well-defined structure. This is a unique methodology developed through years of teaching that you will only find at Tanguito.
Group classes are all followed by a milonga, these incredible tango parties where everything comes together like magic. Los Angelitos milonga is one of London’s friendliest settings and we have an incredibly smooth floor too!
If you are a complete beginner, why not join the beginner class and stay a bit longer for the social dancing – a great opportunity to practice what you’ve learned or socialise: unmissable (proof here)!
If you still feel a bit tango-shy, and wonder what we are all about, have a look at what our students say about us on our Google Local page
Dancing about already? Why not give us a try? The first class is only £10.

FAQs
For our group classes at New Unity Church, please bring dance shoes, or any comfortable shoes with leather soles. If in doubt, have a look at the ‘what to wear’ section of our FAQ page. If you don’t have a partner, it’s absolutely fine, just check come on your own. When learning tango, it is customary to alternate dance partners every few songs – the best way to learn and to make new friends! Our complete beginner classes are designed for complete and recent beginners in mind. We plan our classes so that anyone with no previous experience can join in and enjoy themselves. We never teach lengthy routines that are hard to memorise. Instead, we focus on fundamental technique, simple steps and essential concepts about musicality. |
