Every Tuesday, we’ll publish a different tanda on our blog, to get you inspired for the week. Expect some humming or little twitches from your foot – better not fight it.

Today, a tango tanda by Carlos Di Sarli featuring Milonguero Viejo which we’ve translated last week.

NB: The best way to improve your tango dancing is to know the music you dance on!

Milonguero viejo

This song, written around 1927-28, was actually dedicated to Osvaldo Fresedo, which Di Sarli greatly admired.

Read the full story, listen to the music and discover the lyrics in English.

A performance by the Tango World Champions Maria Ines Bogado & Sebastian Jimenez

El once

Comme il faut

El pollo Ricardo

See you soon on the dancefloor!

Abrazo,

Nati y Bruno
