Introducing… the great Hollywood legend… Rudolf Valentino! In this short clip he is performing a tango routine with a partner from the film The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1921), from one of the earliest and most iconic tango scenes from the movies of all time. If you don’t know the film you’ll definitely know the music, La Cumparsita. The female dancer is Beatrice Dominguez. There is controversy about whether or not this dance is a parody of the original tango, or genuine; I personally think that it intends to be genuine. What do you think?
