…Carlos Di Sarli studied the piano, focusing on classical music at the Williams conservatory where his older brother was teaching.

Music played an important role in the family: Carlos’ older brother Domingo was a teacher at the Williams music conservatory, Nicolas, another older brother, became a famous baritone, and Carlos’ younger brother, Roque, also became a pianist.

At the age of 13 and, provoking his teacher’s and father’s anger, he decided to join a group of traveling musicians touring Argentina and playing popular music including tangos.

Di Sarli will be our orchestra until the end of our academic year, and we’ll post more blogs about his career, personality and music.
