Giraldo's style is often described as being pure "Villa Urquiza", from the name of a famous borough of Buenos Aires where some of the best dancers have trained and originated. This style is a smooth, elegant dancing style, which a lot of people more commonly call "tango salón. Giraldo is particularly well known for his cadencia.
