We are very excited to welcome the maestros Pablo & Florencia for the first time, so don’t miss their Masterclass. After the lessons, the Milonga will be with Guest Tango DJ Hernan Brusa (Arg.) and will feature a show of the maestros. Treat yourself with a fabulous evening of tango!
7pm Beginner class until 8pm with Bruno: “Changes of direction” for those who start tango. Understand rhythm and simple structure.
8pm Masterclass with Pablo & Florencia: “Cadenas and their advanced musicality in tango”.
9pm – midnight: MILONGA with Guest DJ Hernan and a SHOW of the maestros.

COME & PERFORM @ Los Angelitos
We are welcoming tango dancers to come and perform at Los Angelitos, to showcase their skill and art, or practice performing in front of a room of fellow milongueros/as – perfect for those who want to compete at a Tango Championship, introduce a new show or classes, etc.
London, show us you are developing your tango at an impressive pace and that you are becoming a major place in the world to dance and enjoy tango! We’re proud of you!The concept
Short and strong: the couple performs one song of their choice, so it showcases their strongest skill and also doesn’t interrupt the milonga for very long. Performances will be around 11pm. There is no budget set aside for dancers, as it is not a call for seasoned professionals to come and perform for a fee, but is designed for dancers interested in gaining experience in performing.
How to come and perform

– Advanced dancers
– Send us the music file of your song of choice in advance
– Come dressed for a performance – your nicest suit will work best
– Don’t arrive at the last moment

NOTE: You can join any class individually (so, at any time as a drop in) or as a complete course (recommended if you can).

Treat yourself with a workshop designed to delve into the intricacies of advanced musicality in tango. Orchestras, styles, how to read the phrasing and more.
Mariano: “In this workshop we will focus on expressivity, flexibility and movement in complex tango orchestras including Pugliese and Troilo, whilst comparing them with classic orchestras like Di Sarli and D’Arienzo. In doing so we will move toward different levels of complexity in the music and movement.”
As both an experience tango teacher and long time musician, Mariano has taught his musicality workshops in various countries with great success.
ABOUT MARIANO LAPLUME
As a musician, Mariano had the good fortune to play as a violinist in the Academic Orchestra of Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, Orchestra Tipica Imperial, Orchestra Estilos Tangueros of Academia Nacional del Tango after which he cofounded and became know as the violinist of the internationally renowned and much loved Sexteto Milonguero, playing in more than 40 milongas and festivals in Buenos Aires and over 100 more around the world.
