Digital / Social Media Internship (paid)

Job Description

Are you looking for a paid internship in London during the summer, that will allow you to participate in an exciting new venture, make your own decisions, and have a real impact on the business – while developing a hands-on experience of social media and digital advetising?

Then this 4 months internship is for you, and represents a unique opportunity to build on your existing digital knowledge. Although dates are flexible, we’d like you to start from the beginning of June. You will work with the company founders and aim to optimise existing campaigns including SEO, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter. You will receive training where necessary but we’d like you to come with a profound knowledge of these channels so you can proactively bring solutions too.

Desired Skills & Experience

1. About you

We’re looking for a highly-motivated, self-starter candidate able to work in a team, with a positive and proactive approach to developing Social Media campaigns. Because you will be representing our brand online, you will need to demonstrate impeccable verbal and written communication skills, some prior exposure to Social Media utilisation (you may have a blog or a successful Twitter/Facebook page) and rigour in managing your daily tasks.

You will also need to be deeply interested in art and especially dance, which is our business and passion.

2. Your skills:

Building, maintaining and optimising social media campaigns
Focused, enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards work
Excellent written English (Native or Bilingual)
Able to write enticing articles on different topics (for blogs)
Organised, excellent time management skills
Understanding of google analytics, Social Media tactics to create a community, and WordPress

Company Description

We’re different from most companies you’ll find in this group – we’re not a marketing/media agency or products manufacturer, we’re a Dance Academy! Tanguito is the fastest growing Argentine Tango Academy in London. We’re not only offering group classes, we also train newlyweds, we/re organising parties, we’re developing a clothes line, and much more.

This, to apply you will need to be interested in education and entertainment, since you will manage some of our live Social Media campaigns. You will also need to like the idea of working in a small entity, which means limited resources but also very quick decision making.

If this sounds like your cup of tea (or tango step), we’d love to hear from you.
