Today is Bastille Day. Vive la France!
France and Tango… a long love story. It started when Ricardo Guiraldes, a well-off Argentinian writer, visited Europe in 1910. On its way he stopped in Paris, wrote a poem, ‘Tango’, and gave a tango performance in a trendy salon. The performance was a big success and tango became more known from that day.
This is why you’ll find so many milongas and tango classes in Paris!
