We’re excited to announce we will run our first ever special intensive milonga workshop 2pm-4pm, this Sunday 20/09 at New Unity hall – open to ALL LEVELS.

True ancestor of tango, the milonga dance originated in the Río de la Plata and became very popular in the 1870’s. With its distinctive style, milonga is for many both addictive and truly liberating.

A lot of you have been asking for an intensive workshop for a while, so join us for 2 hours of fun: learn this exhilarating dance and be the first one to hit the dancefloor at the next milonga tanda. Don’t fret if you’ve never danced milonga – we’ll start from the basics and gradually build up to more fancy steps whilst looking at musicality.

» Schedule: 2.00 – 4.00pm: Milonga foundations – rhythm, milonga lisa, milonga traspie, steps and adornos
» Level: All levels
» Location: New Unity Hall, 277A Upper Street, Angel, Islington, London, N1 2TZ.
» Price: £16 for the workshop, £14 / person if you come with a partner.

PLEASE NOTE there is no social dancing afterwards.
